- Average temperature in the last 100 years has risen slightly more in Spain than the rest of the EU. (1ºC compared with 0.9º C). This increase has been as much as 2ºC in regions such as Murcia . This has been accompanied by falls in precipitation in southern Spain of around 23% in the last 30 years. The EEA currently predicts a rise in average temperature in Spain of around 4 degrees by 2080. Extreme summers like the 2003 spell are likely to become four times as common in Spain and southern Europe. Sea level has risen over last 100 years by an average of 2.2 millimeters a year at Vigo, compared to 3.5 millimeters in Cantabria. Erosion and coastal regression has increased along the Mediterranean.

What is your country doing in regards to sustainable energy sources?
pain is pushing to make a decline in non-renewable energy and an increase of solar panels .This effort has had a massive effect with a reduction in greenhouse gases.

pain has signed the Kyoto protocol on the 29th of April 1998 and the date of ratifiction was on the 31st of May 2002.
